World clock

Weltzeituhr von Paul Stuebner mit vier Zeitanzeigen 1927

Company: Paul Stübner, 1927
Dimensions of the watch: Diameter: 41 cm

Paul Stübner produced this world clock in 1927. Clocks that display the time of several or even all time zones in the world are designated as “world clocks”.
In addition to Central European Time, Stübner’s world clock also displays three further times – for Moscow, New York and Greenwich.

The spelling of Greenwich is a special feature here – Stübner translated the name of the place into Saxon, so that it is called “Greenwisch” here.

The movement is fitted with a compensation balance and an escapement with a cylindrical spiral.
