After the winding of the Astronomical Art Clock built by Hermann Goertz, which we have shown in an earlier video, we now want to explain the dial of the clock with its different displays. The movement in combination with the impressive dial is divided into an upper part, displaying the time and a perpetual calendar, and a lower part with diverse astronomical displays. Over the large dial, there is a blue arc showing the phases of the moon. One half of this little spherical display is painted gold and the other half painted black.
