Even before the start of the Antique Watch Market at 9:00 am on May 31, queues formed in front of the entrances to the Watch Museum and the specially erected tent. Then it could start. There was trading, buying, exchanging and a lot of shop talk. Where else can you find so many like-minded people who are interested in beautiful historical timepieces?
The range of products offered by the 37 dealers from four countries was huge. In addition to wristwatches and pocket watches from different regions and price ranges, large clocks, spare parts, accessories, tools and specialist literature could also be purchased. The expertise of our watchmakers was also constantly in demand. Many guests brought their own watches and wanted to learn more about their timepieces or were interested in an overhaul.
After seven hours and again far more than 1,000 visitors, everyone was highly satisfied. Numerous gaps had formed in the dealers’ displays, which will certainly be filled with new rarities by the next Glashütte Antique Watch Market on May 23, 2027.
